Holiday Obsession Disorder : a person that constantly wants to be on holiday, and always finds opportunities to go on holiday, and when not on holiday the person may obsess or fantasise about being on one
The Maldives : I have done a whole post on the Maldives and how amazing the place is, so you should go check it out – The Maldives The food is divine and the setting is tranquil. If you are after pure bliss and relaxation then The Maldives is the place for you. It’s my favourite place in the world!
South Africa : I have been to South Africa twice now. It is such a beautiful country. The first time I went I stayed in Cape Town and the second time was quite an adventure. Myself and a group friends started at the most Northern point of South Africa to the most Southern point, then round finishing off in Johannesburg. During that time we went on safari, stayed in a elephant sanctuary, bungee jumped, swam with sharks, stayed in amazing hotels and scary hostels and climbed up Table Mountain. South Africa is one of those places you just have to visit and some point in your life.
New York : I’m sure this one is on most people’s lists. I am a big city girl – I love London, so I knew I would love New York. I’ve been twice and always desperate to go back. Both times were Winter – the second time we actually had snow which was pretty special. Next time I would like to go in the Summer. When I went with my husband, we took a helicopter ride over the city. It was pretty awesome, seeing the gorgeous city from a great height. There is so much to see and do – Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Central Park. If you go you must visit : Ellen’s Stardust Diner – amazing diner, with fab food, where the waiters are also singers!! and a Basketball Game – we went to see a game and it was amazing. The atmosphere is incredible!
Paris : When my then fiancé and I went to Paris it was a pretty special trip. Matt had proposed the day before in London and then whisked me off to the most romantic capital of the world to celebrate my birthday. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Paris really is beautiful, from the Eiffel Tower to the River Seine, it is again one of those must see places. The view from the Eiffel Tower really is something incredible and I am a sucker for anything romantic – head to the love bridge over the Seine. You write yours and your loves name on a padlock and lock it to the bridge, then you throw the key in to the Seine – it’s said then bring you a long and happy relationship!
Isle of Wight : Now, of course there’s some beautiful places in the world that you can visit with a long haul flight but there are also some amazing places much closer to come. Isle of Wight is just a ferry trip away and it really is a gorgeous island. I still dream about the best Fried Halloumi burger I had at the Wheatsheaf Inn right near Yarmouth port. I am yet to find one better and am tempted to travel over there just for another one – bit extreme!! The views are amazing and to get and get some fresh sea air is never a bad thing.
