Creative Helen

I am often talking about talent in the form of acting on this blog – well that makes sense seeing as I’m an actor. But I wanted to take this time to appreciate other talents and my friend Helen Dennis is a wonderful starting point.

Helen is Senior Designer at Cardmix and her greetings card designs are incredible. Helen studied for a Masters and a Degree at Ravensbourne in Moving Image Design and she has a fabulous new range out, at the moment, for Cardmix called #JustSayin’! which I love!!

just-sayin_cropThere’s a small description of her range on the Cardmix website:

Our new #Just Sayin’! range targets the ongoing trend for text based designs with innovation in editorial and presentation.  #Just Sayin!’ has been created to appeal to an audience familiar with communicating through social media by featuring popular and trending phrases and statements, hand drawn icons and bespoke lettering. The 12 designs are glitter varnish finished with bright pink envelopes wrapped in cello bags.

Besides this fabulous #JustSayin’! range Helen has made many incredible cards. I absolutely loved our New Home card she gave us that she obviously designed!

Helen’s cards have been on sale in some big stores such as John Lewis, Clintons and Paperchase (and we all know how much I love Paperchase!). Plus, Cardmix sells in a lot of independent shops too. Her craft is incredible and what she can do with paper is amazing. She can transform a plain piece of paper into something spectacular – her paper flowers are phenomenal! If you have a special event coming up I’d strongly recommend one of Helen’s cards!
